Daria Mitiuk is a film producer and journalist from Kyiv, based in Paris. She started working in film in 2011 while studying production. Her experience spans commercials, music videos and documentaries, with a particular focus on organising shoots in Ukraine for French clients.

Since russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, she has worked with The New York Times on stories about the war and Ukrainian society. She has contributed to more than 100 articles, including front-page stories, and worked on an Oscar-nominated documentary. A photo story she produced was selected by The New York Times and successfully submitted to the 2025 Pulitzer Prizes.

Daria also holds a master’s degree in contemporary dance, which informs her interest in producing performance and contemporary art. She enjoys finding stories, making sense of complicated subjects and bringing order to a production — from budgets and schedules to communication between teams.

She is open to international projects across commercial production, film, journalism and contemporary art, particularly those with a distinctive visual approach and complex production needs.
